Electronic Recycling Program

Electronic Recycling BinThe Village of Hillside has recycling bins available where you can dispose of your unwanted TV's and electronics properly. This service is for Hillside residents only. The Village of Hillside and Waste Management will not pick up TV's at curbside. TV's have many toxic materials and as of 2012, are prohibited from landfills.

The Village Hall accepts televisions 32" or smaller tube TVs, flat screen 60" or smaller and other electronics such as VCRs, receivers, telephones, etc. This recycling program is NOT for small appliances such as toasters, blenders, etc. The Village of Burr Ridge has an Electronics Recycling Collection open to everyone that accepts a larger variety of electronics.
