CPR Classes
The Hillside Fire Department is excited to announce a 2024 schedule for life safety/CPR classes. Classes for 2024 include Friends & Family CPR, HeartSaver CPR, BLS Healthcare Provider, and Stop the Bleed. Classes will be held on Saturday mornings in the board room of Hillside Village Hall from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM on the following days:

Instruction is structured so that Friends & Family CPR, HeartSaver CPR, BLS Healthcare Provider, and Stop the Bleed are all offered on each class day. All classes begin at 8:00 AM , with Friends and Family CPR ending at 10:00 AM, Heartsaver CPR ending at 11:00 AM, BLS Healthcare Provider ending at 12:00 PM, and Stop the Bleed beginning at 12:00 PM. Friends and Family CPR and Heartsaver CPR students who are dismissed prior to 12:00 PM, or anyone that wishes to attend Stop the Bleed class aside from a CPR class, will have the option to receive the training in-person at 12:00 PM or take the course and exam online. All Hillside residents and businesses receive a 50% discount on class fees with proof of their residency. Groups who enroll with five or more students and any individual enrolled in a High School or College course that requires CPR certification will also receive a discounted rate. All classes are limited to eight students and dates are subject to change or cancellation due to COVID-19 restrictions. Large groups are encouraged to call the firehouse for class availability and to schedule a private date.

How to Register
Please fill out the CPR Class Registration Online Form. A representative will contact you and confirm the availability of your preferred class date and complete the registration process. Submitting this form is not a guarantee of availability. CPR classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum of three (3) registrants per class has not been met. Notification will be made one week prior to class date with information.
