Garage Sale Guidelines

Garage Sale Guidelines are put in place to make sure that garage sales and similar personal property sales do not cause any complications. Each household is entitled to hold a maximum of two sales a year, each lasting for three days in a row, between 8:00 AM  and 6:00 PM. Notices for such sales may be posted no earlier than 24 hours before the start of the sale and must be removed within four hours after the sale ends. Only items owned by the resident may be sold. Compliance with these regulations may be inspected by Village officials, who are authorized to enforce closures and issue citations for violations of municipal ordinances.
