The mission of the Hillside Fire Department is to provide protection of life and property, by providing rescue, emergency medical care, fire suppression, and fire prevention through education. Through professionalism we will faithfully provide these vital services and engage the community in our mission through community outreach. Our sworn members will maintain a constant state of readiness to respond safely and efficiently to any emergency call within our community.

As your Fire Chief, it is truly an honor and privilege to lead the men and women of this progressive, well-trained, community-driven organization.  I have felt and witnessed firsthand the honor that comes with wearing a Hillside Fire Department uniform.
