Solicitation Information Reminder

The Village of Hillside requires that anyone wishing to solicit within our Village needs to be registered at the Village Hall. If a solicitor comes to your home, please check to see that they are wearing a “Village of Hillside” issued 2 by 3 inch clip on badge. If you do not see this badge displayed, please call the Police Department. The only exception to this rule is that Religious organizations are permitted to go door to door without registering.

A good rule to follow is not to let any strangers into your home. If you have any questions, or feel uncomfortable with any worker, or see any suspicious activity in your neighborhood please do not hesitate to contact our Police Department.
