Project UFO

Saturday, May 20th starting at 9:30 AM. Hillside has a double header day planned with Project UFO (Unidentified Foreign Objects) and Opening Day for our Berk/Hill Baseball Players! 

Starting at 9:30 AM, behind the Hillside Village Hall, children, teenagers, adults, and or Berk/Hill Baseball teams will meet and magically turn into a team of UFO spotters. Spotters will receive UFO gear and then hop on our Public Works Trucks to gather up all of the trash scattered throughout Hillside. 

Mayor Tamburino believes a clean village instills a sense of community pride, which in turn benefits home resale values, attracts new businesses, and helps reduce crime. 

The spotters will head back to "home plate" around 10:30 where McDonald's of Hillside will provide us with breakfast. Baseball coaches and volunteers will then be cooking up hamburgers and hotdogs. 

Be a part of the UFO Team by gathering your friends and family and come to the back of the Village Hall on May 20th at 9:30 AM. 

Games begin at 11:00 AM so stay around and cheer on the teams. 

Don't strike out on this event...it is fun for all ages... Rides on a truck, UFO Gear, Free Food and Baseball Games! A real grand slam!
