The Village of Hillside is a home rule unit of government that is proud of the relationships it maintains with the business community. The Village prides itself on community aesthetics and values. The Village works to attract and maintain businesses in the community.

The mission of Economic Development in Hillside is to attract and promote the appropriate growth and expansion of retail, office, light industry, distribution, warehouse and related businesses within the Village in order to strengthen the tax base and increase job opportunities for our residents. Hillside also serves the community by creating and fostering successful programs to retain and bolster existing business activities within the Village.
