Road work to close southbound Wolf Rd. starting Nov. 16th

Published on November 13, 2020

Southbound Wolf Road at Darmstadt Road will close beginning Monday, November 16th.

On November 16, 2020, a work crew will be repairing the infrastructure related to sewer and water located within southbound Wolf Road at the intersection with Darmstadt Road.  We expect the work and roadway restoration will take approximately five (5) days to complete.  During this time, it will be necessary to fully close the southbound lane of Wolf Road, at the railroad crossing.  A detour via Jackson Blvd. to North Frontage Road to Hillside Drive to Harrison Street will be provided for southbound travel.

Northbound travel on Wolf Road will not be affected by the repair work.  A full graphical depiction of the closure and detours as well as a notice sent to local residents are linked below.

Due to the railroad gate configuration at the Wolf Road Crossing, we are not able to reduce down to one lane of traffic in each direction by shifting  traffic eastward as southbound traffic would not be protected by a gate closure.
