COVID-19 Vaccine Registration – Phase 1B

Illinois has now entered the next phase of their vaccination rollout, called Phase 1B, increasing the eligibility to more qualifying residents. Phase 1B opens up vaccinations to people age 65 years and older as well as frontline essential workers as identified on the 1B list found on this website http://www.dph.illinois.gov/covid19/vaccine-faq

REGISTRATION – Qualifying individuals living or working in Cook County that wish to take the vaccine in this area must register online at this website https://vaccine.cookcountyil.gov which shows a listing of State operated facilities at the time of online registration. Due to limited vaccines available, registration appointments are extremely limited at this time.

The FDA granted Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Dec. 11, 2020 and of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on Dec. 18, 2020.

Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) has been preparing since the pandemic started to make the COVID-19 vaccine available as soon as possible to people living and working in CCDPH’s jurisdiction of suburban Cook County.
