Helping Local Food Pantries

There are two local food pantries that are operating in our community. This holiday season has left their shelves bare. To assist them, the Village of Hillside will have a box in the lobby for residents who may wish to donate to assist those who are in need. Each of these pantries is currently assisting over 40 local families. Some of the items that are needed the most are:

canned fruit/vegetables
pancake mix
peanut butter/jelly
syrup
cereal
crackers
potatoes (dry)
rice
coffee
tuna/salmon
spaghetti sauce
pasta noodles
jello/pudding mix
cake/muffin mix
paper products
laundry soap
personal items
