Early-Absentee Voting

February 2nd — A new voting process, developed by the Cook County Clerk’s Office, is being initiated for the Primary Election on Tuesday, March 21, 2006.

Early voting and absentee voting will be available to registered voters of Hillside from February 27 through March 16, 2006, and absentee balloting from March 17 through March 20, 2006.

Hillside voters may cast early and absentee ballots at the Village Hall, 425 Hillside Avenue from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. weekdays, and from 9:00 A.M. to Noon on Saturdays.

Persons voting early or absentee will be required to present photo identification – driver’s license, state identification, or government issued identification.

Voting will be done on Optical Scan Ballots (paper) to be marked with a special pen.
