Kid's Spot is in its
8th successful year. The key to having a successful program is its outstanding staff members and we have the BEST!! Our wonderful Director Susan Hayes has agreed to once again organize the camp. She has put together an outstanding team of teachers (some with backgrounds in Special Education) and counselors (most are education majors in high school). Each age group is also assigned volunteers who in some cases are former campers. Our camp is successful because it is made to be a fun and challenging learning experience. As with any program, we have
requirements
- Campers must have turned 3 years of age before our start date
- Birth Certificate and Proof of Residency required
- They must be fully toilet trained
All camp attendees must live in Hillside or Westdale Gardens (sorry, no exceptions). KID'S SPOT consists of children ages 3 through 13 and the fee is $130 per child for 6-week program. Included in this cost are 3 camp shirts, daily refreshments, activities and weekly swimming at Memorial Park Pool/Turtle Bay plus other great surprises. Fee must be paid at the time of registration and proof of residency is required for all new campers. We have some great field trips planned and the fee for these outings will be collected before each trip.
Registration Information
Registration will begin on Monday, April 21st at the Village Hall starting at
10:00 a.m. and will end on Wednesday, May 21st at the end of the business day. Registration forms will be sent to all former campers and also available at the Village Hall, in the
April issue of the Hillside Happenings, as well as
online. A separate form for each child is required. There will be a $30 late fee per child for anyone registering after May
21st.
