Concerts Under The Stars

Whether you have lived here a short time or for many, many years, you must know by now that Hillside is a community that is truly made up of many caring people...people like you with strong family values. Your efforts make our village an outstanding place to raise children and grandchildren. It has always been our goal to provide not only quality service to our residents, but also quality activities and events for all ages. It has been a while since we have had our concert series, but this year we are going to make August an unforgettable month, so get out those lawn chairs or just take a seat on our bleachers because it is CONCERT TIME! Our FREE "CONCERT UNDER THE STARS" are being held on the first 3 Tuesdays this month. The place to be is the Hillside Commons, located at Hillside and Washington Avenues. All concerts start at 7:30pm and end at approximately 9:00pm. There will be food available for purchase or just bring your own. So get ready to sit back, relax and enjoy some great entertainment.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 7TH BBI

What band has top-notch musicians, great costuming, fantastic dancing, and put on an electrifying show!!! Well, the answer is BBI. This terrific band plays everything from Elvis, to James Brown and Beyonce. BBI is known internationally and performed in Europe. This group is so hot, that we are hoping for a cool night when they take the stage. Their variety of music and outstanding showmanship will make you wish the evening would never end! It has been a long time...but welcome back to Hillside, BBI!

TUESDAY, AUGUST 14TH R-GANG

This outstanding group combines their musical expertise and showmanship to be considered one of the "BEST BANDS IN THE MIDWEST". R-GANG Specializes in Motown and Rhythm and Blues and they turn every performance into a big party. It's been said that "if you can't dance to this outstanding group then you better check your pulse". Don't miss their return performance to Hillside and rememberto wear your dancing shoes.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 21ST INFINITY

HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS, HILLSIDE...INFINITY IS BACK IN TOWN!!! INFINITY has NO limits or boundaries. They have a following that makes them one of the top most successful cover bands in the nation's third-largest metropolis. INFINITY continues to break attendance records wherever they perform. They light up the stage with their unique vocals and instrumentals of hits from Styx, Queen, REO Speedwagon and of course their signature group...Journey. INFINITY is known for their outgoing personalities and if you have ever seen them, you know exactly what to expect...if not, expect the unexpected...so be prepared, you might be singing along with them (and we guarantee you will), or a microphone may just appear before you. They maintain the ability to include the audience so you feel as if you are part of the show. A quote from the Lead Singer Bob, "this is not our show, it's yours". INFINITY enjoys the thousands of fans, young and young at heart, who sing along and become the chorus. They are genuine entertainers and we are so happy that INFINITY is returning to Hillside and we know you will be too!

THIS IS A GREAT CONCERT SERIES AND WE HOPE YOU WILL ATTEND. A FEW RULES DO APPLY, NO BOTTLES ALLOWED AT THE COMMONS AND PLEASE LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME.
