Every year we have a parade (photos) that officially opens our youth sports programs. School bands, organizations, floats, representatives from our neighboring towns and, of course, the great kids that make up our teams, scouting groups and organizations look forward to a morning of fun.  The Grand Marshal of this years parade will be former Hillside resident and Chicago White Sox pitching legend Lee "Skip" Pitlock.  The parade will start at the Hillside Village Hall, 425 Hillside Avenue, south to Butterfield Road, east to Wolf Road, north to Washington Street, west to the Hillside Commons.
