January

Annual breakfast in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebrating the diversity in our community.

February

The Village of Hillside's Youth Commission will present its family bowling day called "FAMILY BOWLING FUN." This event will be held at Hillside Bowl in February.

March

The Youth Commission's annual Easter "Egg" Travaganza Egg Hunt for ages 10 and under is held on a Saturday in March.

April

The Youth Athletic Parade officially opens our youth sports programs including baseball and softball.

An excellent “Community Service Project”, Project UFO (Unwanted Foreign Objects) is an outstanding Village event that brings a fun aspect to spring cleaning in our community.

May

Conducted in the Hillside Commons, the Memorial Day Ceremony commemorates U.S. men and women who have died in military service to their country.

Enjoy "Movies in the Park" nights in the Hillside Commons on Fridays! Come with family and friends and enjoy a free movie and free entertainment.

Our free "Concerts in the Park " are held on the first 4 Tuesdays in August in the Hillside Commons.

Reenactment of the Civil War presented by the Historical Commission.

The Hillside Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold it’s 5th annual 5-K Run. Run, jog or walk the 3.1 miles through the residential streets of Hillside.

Annual festival in the Hillside Commons including local food vendors, free music and entertaiment, and rides for kids.

September

Hillside's local cemetery tour is held in September.

October

Hillside's celebrates Halloween with trick or treating for children and evening festivities in the Hillside Commons.

November

This Parade is presented to thank all our Veterans for the tremendous sacrifices they have made and to provide a great display of patriotism in Hillside.

December

Held the first week in December, local shops and businesses partipate and showcase Hillside's holiday spirit. This evening includes the tree lighting ceremony.
