Where: Best Western Chicago Hillside Hotel, 4400 Frontage Road, Hillside
Reservations for the breakfast are necessary and tickets are available for purchase only at the Village Hall, 425 Hillside Avenue, during regular business hours starting Monday, December 7, 2015 until Monday, January 11, 2016. Due to the magnitude of this event, tickets need to be paid for at the time
of purchase and cannot be held at the door. Sorry, we do not accept credit cards. Please also note, that tickets WILL NOT BE SOLD THE MORNING OF THE BREAKFAST. Reserved tables will only be available for groups who purchase 10 tickets or more, otherwise the event is open seating so we advise you to arrive early.

Martin Luther King 2016 Dream Award
This award recognizes an individual who exemplifies the ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through their personal commitment to human relations and social justice. The nominee should be actively engaged in activities that support the dream of Dr. King such as: Promoting peace on earth, living together as equal human beings, respecting all ethnicities, working hard in school, church and/or community to become a better citizen and going out of their way to help people in need.
Submissions: When completed return the application to the Attention: Human Relations Commission, Village of Hillside, 425 Hillside Avenue, Hillside, IL 60162 , or put it in the Village Drop Box no later than Friday, December 18,

How Have You Served Your Community?
Students are invited to write an original essay based on the theme for the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast that will be held January 18, 2016. The essay content from students should address his dream of transformation for America through his movement for justice. Our 2016 topic is Positive Actions - Great Results! Dr. King wanted everyone to participate in making our society better with actions and not just words. If you cannot do great things, what small actions can you take to obtain great results for our community?
