Hillside, Illinois is located just 17 miles from downtown Chicago.


Hillside is conveniently located at the intersection of the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290), the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), and the East-West Tollway (I-88). This accessibility enables drivers to reach the Loop, O'Hare and Midway airports in 20 minutes.


Commuters can board the Metra train in neighboring Berkeley and arrive in the Loop in 25 minutes. Commuter rail service is provided by the Union Pacific Transportation Company under an agreement with Metra. The rail line which serves the Hillside/Berkeley depot is the Union Pacific West Line. The Chicago Airport System is comprised of O'Hare International and Chicago Midway Airport.

Hillside is served by Pace, the suburban bus division of the Regional Transportation Authority. Pace provides numerous fixed bus routes through out town including numbers 301, 310, 322, 330, and 767.
