The Finance Department is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all Village's financial assets and investments in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances, policies and procedures. These activities include the recording of all financial transactions, billing and collection of all monies due to Village, as well as overseeing payroll, accounts payable, water billing and fixed assets. The department prepares the annual operating budget, the annual capital budget, and the comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR).
The Finance Director is the Village Treasurer, and, as such, functions as Treasurer to both the Police and Firefighter Pension Boards. In this capacity, the department is responsible for all financial transactions required of the pension funds.
The Finance Department is located in the Village Hall.
