Hillside Police Department Services Offered: House security checks - an officer inspects the home for security and makes recommendations to improve security. Vacation checks - a resident’s home is checked twice daily while on vacation. Lockout service - if a person locks their keys in his or her vehicle, the police department will send an officer to attempt to open the vehicle. Finger printing of children - available for all grade school children. Finger printing for citizenship - residents may request that prints be taken for purposes of naturalization.
